![]() ![]() She brought out everything late and threw it down at us. But your not really there for a wow meal. Soup was disgusting and pastry was boring. Chicken was juicy, potato was seasoned and rib(singular as you only got one) was edible. Other than that your focus is the Knights not the horses performing. There was a lovely dressage performance done by a single rider that was beautiful and a couple tricks. They compete in events and have a grand Ole time. There are 6 sections and everyone cheers on their knight. If they would have only made the gift shop a bit smaller it would have allowed for a much better arena. (Not sure if this was due to NYE and they over packed it or not) The arena is quite small compared to other dinner shows that feature horses. I have been to many other dinner shows and never had this problem. You are squished against total strangers with barely any room to move, let alone eat. I must admit the seating is cramped and uncomfortable. Once ushered into the area everyone is seated on long benches in their respective sections. The bottle of Beringer White Zin was $23, not terrible. We were able to preorder a bottle for the tournament to save time. The bar had different specialty cocktails and souvenir glasses, all that were overpriced and under poured, as I assumed they would be. They had lots to purchase of course and I think for tourists or out of towners that's great. Dinner Show Review: Once we arrived and got our seating cards we went and had a photo taken and was ushered into the gift shop/bar waiting room. Since this isn't like a normal night I will split the review for this purpose. It was a 9:30 showtime and went till the early hours with a live DJ, Champagne Toast, Balloon Drop, and Party Favors. Other than that it was excellent and I would recommend to young and old alike. My only complaint would be leaving the parking lot, only one exit with everybody needing to make a right hand turn onto a busy street, it took a while to get out. When the show was over and everybody was in the lobby/gift shop I couldn't believe how loud it was with excitement. The knight show was great, even though you could tell it was staged, the fighting and jousting was really fun to watch. They tried to sell us photos but were not pushy at all, they just showed them to us and when we said "No, thanks" they went on to the next guest. I don't like tomato soup but the tomato t bisque was great, my daughter that feels the same way about tomato soup agreed. I was expecting a bland meal of chicken and ribs but the food was excellent. But they performed beyond my expectations! From entering into a full room (which was quite loud with the excitement) to letting us know which knight we were cheering for, then entering the arena, it was all impressive. I was to one of these shows about 20 years ago in Las Vegas so I wasn't expecting much more than an entertaining meal. ![]()
